elvamo.app (also referred to as “Elvamo”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data when you use our service at elvamo.app.

When you create an account, we collect:
- Email address — used for authentication, notifications, and account recovery.
- Name (optional) — first and last name for personalization.
- Authentication provider data — if you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile identifier from Google. We do not store your Google password.
1.2 User-Generated Content
We store the data you create within elvamo.app, including:
- Bill lists, categories, and individual bills (names, amounts, due dates).
- Payment status (paid, skipped, reasons).
- User preferences (currency, language, notification settings).
1.3 Technical Data
We automatically collect:
- Push notification tokens — if you enable push notifications, we store the subscription endpoint to deliver notifications.
- Device and browser information — basic information for security and debugging (e.g., user agent).
1.4 Payment Data
We do not collect or store your payment card details, billing address, or financial information. All payment processing is handled by Paddle.com Market Limited (“Paddle”), which acts as the Merchant of Record. Paddle collects and processes your payment data in accordance with their own Privacy Policy.
We only store a Paddle customer identifier to link your elvamo.app account with your Paddle subscription.
2. How We Use Your Data
We use your data to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
- Authenticate your identity and secure your account.
- Send transactional emails (OTP codes, invitation notifications).
- Send push notifications for payment reminders (only if you opt in).
- Process and manage your Premium subscription status.
- Respond to support requests.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not display ads.
3. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Paddle — Payment processing and subscription management. Paddle Privacy Policy.
- SendGrid (Twilio) — Transactional email delivery. Twilio Privacy Policy.
- Google OAuth — Third-party sign-in. Google Privacy Policy.
- Vercel — Frontend hosting. Vercel Privacy Policy.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on secure servers hosted within the European Union. We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS/SSL), hashed passwords, and token-based authentication to protect your data.
While we take reasonable precautions, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.
5. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it longer.
Anonymized or aggregated data that cannot identify you may be retained indefinitely for analytics and service improvement.

elvamo.app is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
9. International Transfers
Your data may be processed in countries outside your country of residence. Where we transfer data outside the EEA, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions).

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or through the Service. Your continued use of elvamo.app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
